Here’s a self portrait of me in me in my charter pilot days. This was a Piper Navajo Chieftain. Flew this plane all over the East Coast of the US and Canada in all kinds of weather. This was a fun airplane but the turbine version Cheyenne was even funner to fly. I started carrying a tri-pod and obviously a camera with me on flights to help kill the time waiting around at airports. I used an Olympus OM-4T set on auto timer with probably a 28mm F1.8 lens. Extremely great classic camera and great classic aircraft. I caught the sun exactly as it was coming up and lucked out when I ran into place in the twelve second interval managing to not block the rising sun just peaking over the horizon.
